NotFischer's Game Reviews: Analysing Capablanca-Tartakower 1924
During yesterday’s collab stream with ChessDabbler, we were analysing the famous game between Capablanca and Tartakower from 1924. We do a rather deep analysis and learn how the dynamic factors in a position can sometimes outweigh the static ones. In this game, Capablance shows his genius and how ahead of his time he was, as he first exchanges his good bishop for a knight and then a couple of pawns in order to actively deploy his king. The great Tartakower put up a good fight but was not able to survive the endgame brilliance of Capablanca. Watch this game review to enjoy a true masterpiece by the Cuban hero.
